Playing in Clay means every child has a place to play sports right here in their own community through Clay Youth Sports. CYS is committed to giving our youth structure, community, and purpose through these critical, life-shaping years. This program is for athletes on track to make the high school teams, and it’s for kids who just genuinely love the sport and want nothing more than to be out there having fun at every practice, every game.
Playing in Clay means that our kids have the chance to learn resilience for when life gets tough and confidence for when they need to do hard things right here at home, surrounded by friends and family and neighbors cheering them on. It means that success is measured differently: we love to win, but what matters the most is showing up, trying your best, and growing with every practice.
Our youth aren’t just important for the future, they are important right now, and by providing opportunities for them to stay healthy and involved in sports from kindergarden through 12th grade, we are doing our part to set them up for success in whatever they do. Playing in Clay means that our kids will gain a support system of mentors, coaches, Team Moms, and teammates that will last them a lifetime.
It means that you, whether you’re an athlete, coach, or neighbor, have the chance to be part of something bigger than any single game or season. You’re part of changing lives. Come Play in Clay, we'd love to have you!
At Clay Youth Sports, we're dedicated to building a program that is rooted in consistency, community, and a genuine commitment to our kids. This is a community-driven effort, and we invite neighbors, parents, and volunteers to join us in creating something special for our kids. Our goal is simple: to give every child the opportunity to build fond memories of a childhood spent right here in Clay—playing, growing, and becoming part of something bigger than themselves. We're not just organizing sports, we're shaping the experiences our kids will carry with them for a lifetime. Let's Play in Clay!
